This is my 2nd day and I tried to have watered down yogurt. I thought it was on my list of OK foods but I was wrong!!

I even threw up because I got stuck.

While most of it came up I still feel stuck!

Help any tips? What can I do?

I'm already dealing with the pain my insides healing.

follow your dr's liquids post op diet..to the letter

your insides are incredibly swollen.....and throwing up so early after surgery is dangerous..sip and sip and then sip some more

Sipping is making it worse!!

not sure i understand

if you threw up, you probably are scared and stressing--so calm down

the insides are very swollen and hence why its important not to rush (lesson learned)

and why its vital to do what your dr advised post op instructions.

just take baby sips the rest of the day or SF popsicles to stay hydrated

go slow.....if it feels like its getting worse, call your doctor

When I took tiny sips of Water I had to throw up again. I feel like there is a golf ball in my chest.

If I wait it out will it go away? I don't want to throw up again!

Yes I'm rem and just trying relax on the couch.

I called my doctor and he said to go to him at the hospital so he can take Fluid out.

Watered down yogurt isn't on that list. Yogurt drink is on the list? You should do what your doctor tells you to do? If he put Fluid in, he may want to take some out. Follow your doctors orders!

If your dr said to go to him at the hospital, that is what I would do.

If you're not able to sip your Water, that is very dangerous....dehydration sets in fast and is no joke.

"Can you take it easy on me?" ??? I simply suggested you follow your doctors orders to meet him at the hospital! You sound like you're too tight.

Yes, just take it slow and relax. See your Dr and if you stay on this site just try to ignore some of the comments that are not so supportive. Some people don't even realize how condescending they are. If you are feeling panicked, always call your Dr, I know my Dr has told me to call anytime, his staff is always on call.

Ok it's all out. He had filled me 3cc during surgery and now I'm completely deflated.

He said this happens in 5% of surgeries and that I will prob be one of those people that don't need too many fills.

Having the needle poke me in fresh stitches was awful.

I'm so devastated this s starting out this way.

Keep the faith. You can do this. Everyone is different. You may be able to lose without fills. Many people have lost over 100 pounds with no fills. Just continue to follow the instructions as you have been and allow the body to heal. I hope the unfill helped you feel better. Best wishes, and please bring your questions here. But... be aware, we may tell you to ask your doctor because most of us have no medical training, just experience with what works for us. I hope you are feeling better soon!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
