Borderline BMI

My insurance company requires a BMI of 40 or greater -- called the PCP and I hover just under, once over. So ridiculous -- I am 240 or so, sometimes 250. Perfect candidate. Maybe I should have lead earrings on for my pre-op weigh-in!

aww that sucks! I checked with my insurance and HR and they both confirmed that the procedure was covered. Being a candidate is up to the physician. I am just under at 38 something, but I have osteoarthritis in my knee (25% gone at age 33) and I have minor issues with hypertension. I am hoping to be qualified - sent off eval waiting for a response!

Yea maybe you could drink a bunch of Water or wear ankle weights! hahaha
