port pain?

ok, so my surgery was May 16th about a week after, the port started to feel fine, i was able to sleep good and everything, then about three days ago i went swimming and now i have a lot of pain, is it possible i did something to it? or what does a band slip feel like?

It sounds like the swimming may have stretch the muscle your port is sewn to. Take it easy for a while and It should feel better. It is unlikely your band has slipped, but if you are concerned, definitely call your doctor.

You may have flipped your port or it might be a slip. Call your doctor and make an appointment, your doctor can tell you for sure. Good luck!

can the port flip?

yes it can. I'm surprised your doctor allowed you to swim, or even go into the pool after just a couple of weeks post-op. My doctor told me six weeks before I could get in the Water. I agree with the other posters that you should probably follow up with your doctor just to make sure everything is OK.
