  1. Ok, I'll give you all the info maybe that will help, I had my Sudbury May 16th, my first fill was on June 10, I ave 6cc in a 14 cc band, I weighed 258 lb on the day of my surgery, I am 243.6lb today, I did get down to 241 last week but have not budge since in fact I gained weight. I track everything I eat in my fitness pal, ill include a picture of from my fitness pay of a typical day for me, well i dont typically eat french fries but other then that its a typical day. super frustrated, I just want to lose. I'm kinda embarrassed to because lots f ppl know hat I had surgery and are looking at me like why are u not losing!
  2. I am not losing! I am doing everything right! Following all my directions eating no more then 1000 calories a day, I've had one fill a d do t really fill any restriction, but if I'm following all the rules shouldn't I be losing regardless of how tight my band is.
  3. No the contrast is not that bad, I had to drink it lie 4 times, and I'm really sensitive to bad taste. It's really a mental thing.
  4. I went for my first fill today, originally they told me I had 3cc in my band but today they said I only had 2. It was an interesting experience because I was thinking it was only going to be me and the nurse in her office and I would be in and out, but it was a little more extensive then that, my surgeon was there along with the X-ray tech and the nurse, they made me drink contrast and then they filled it with 4cc so I'm up to 6cc. I'm a little confused about that cause my surgeon originally told me that they would only put 2 the first fill. So I am really hoping I feel a lot of restriction cause I felt nothing before and I don't go back for my second fill till Aug. 26 ???’. I just thought I would share.
  5. ok, so my surgery was May 16th about a week after, the port started to feel fine, i was able to sleep good and everything, then about three days ago i went swimming and now i have a lot of pain, is it possible i did something to it? or what does a band slip feel like?
  6. Thanks everyone, I guess I'll keep doing what im doing hopefully I see the scale go down soon!
  7. Hi everyone, this is my first post, I had my surgery May 16th. Since then I lost 14 lb but for the last week it has completely stopped. I usually eat about 800-1000 calories a day and walk about a mile or swim for 45 min. A typical day for me is 2 eggs for breakfast and 1 slice of rye toast, lunch. Chicken salad on spinach, and fish or turkey for dinner. I'm sticking to one cup. I don't have tons of restriction but do notice I stay fuller longer. I go for my first fill on June 11, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm just not losing. Any suggestions?
