I have had instant oatmeal mixed with 1% milk with a little peanut butter mixed in as well as a little Splenda. It was really tasty. Make sure you add extra milk to make it runny. I also have had instant grits with a little "I can't believe its not butter" mixed in and it was good. Just add extra water and cook about a minute and a half longer than it says to, that will help it get creamier.

My mom made me chicken salad in the food processor so it was smooth and mushy... and it was SOOOO good!!

I have been thinking about them grits! Ima wait maybe another day or 2. I'm been having cream soups and puddings, jello and some broth (but the broth is about to gag me now). I read somewhere to not eat applesauce and grits yet. Must be the texture I guess. I'm only 4 days post op so I need to be patient I guess. :-).

On a different note, every time I bend down or try to get up it burns where my port is and I feel a little flutter there. More paranoia I guess - I'm sure it's just the muscles.

Hang in there! :) It gets better by the day. I am with you on the broth. I went today and got several healthy request soups by Campbell's. The broccoli cheese is good!!
