  7. Thanks ladies!! I was wondering what the "band hell" was. I have had the nerve to eat pizza and beer. Lol. But have also noticed some things not being as good as they used to as well. I will get the fitness pal, and get this and myself under control!!!!

  11. Has anyone ever had a slip and if so, what did you do? I am worried about mine, got banded on May 24, and have been able to eat and drink like normal. I go this Wednesday for a fill and hope I did not mess up. I should be kicking myself in the rear end for going back to my old ways. I may be just fine, and it could be the fact that my band only got 1/2 cc or less at surgery and maybe I have just stretched it. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had similar situation. My hope is I am ok and will start fresh with my first fill this week.

  13. I had the same problem and my husband would stand far away from me at times, lol! Since we aren't supposed to chew gum, I was told by my Dr. that sugar free mints were ok to use. Thank goodness for icebreaker mints!!
  14. Hang in there! It gets better by the day. I am with you on the broth. I went today and got several healthy request soups by Campbell's. The broccoli cheese is good!!
  15. Ginger Ann- I am going to melt me a little bit of low fat cheddar cheese in my grits tomorrow.

  18. I have had instant oatmeal mixed with 1% milk with a little peanut butter mixed in as well as a little Splenda. It was really tasty. Make sure you add extra milk to make it runny. I also have had instant grits with a little "I can't believe its not butter" mixed in and it was good. Just add extra water and cook about a minute and a half longer than it says to, that will help it get creamier.
  19. Does anyone know if we can have sugar free breath mints since we can't chew gum??
  20. I was told to take liquid Tylenol. I tried it today and it helped a lot with the cramps. Don't take any kind of aspirin or ibuprofen because of possible stomach ulcers from being banded.

  22. Unjury is the best! Takes about 3 days to come in UPS after you order. I also got the Bariatric vitamins from there, orange flavored and dissolves fast.
  23. Thanks everyone. Its fun being a woman! Lol!
  24. Hello everyone, I am new on here, got banded last Friday. I started my period today which makes it 2 weeks too early. ??? Has anyone else had the issue of it coming early? Now is just not a good time. ???£
