post op

I was banded four days ago, I've been doing fairly well my problem is I feel like burping, when I think it's coming up I just get a sharp pain in my stomach and don't actually burp, is that normal?

Best things you can do are take gas-x chewables or strips and walk walk walk as much as you can!!!! Congrats on your big day!!

Hey, I was banded 2 days ago and Im feeling the same thing. Its almost like I have to burp or it feels like bubbling. What are you doing to help it?

I was banded on 5/1 and had the same problem. Walk, walk, walk and use gas-x like hely said. It's usually caused by residual trapped air used during surgery but it will pass. It's uncomfortable but it really does get better.

I was banded 5/1 too and that feeling isn't so persistent anymore; I walked my ass off an tired myself out now tho lol; best of luck to u

I've been doing a lot of walking around my house I wish the weather was nice so I can go outside and get some fresh air. Gas x and a heating pad is helping me a little bit I am getting more active each day. The pain will pass.
