I just finished up my Pre-Operative Testing for my LapBand surgery. On Monday I have my EGD test and then I start my two week liquid diet. My actual LapBand surgery will be on Tuesday May 21, 2013.

I am so excited and a bit nervous at the same time. I am ready for a change and this tool will help me achieve my personal goals.

I understand how you are feeling. My surgery is set for May 24th. I had to jump through all the insurance hoops the last 7 months so it feels like I have been waiting forever, yet now I am getting a little nervous, excited, anxious... so many emotions right now. Good luck with your journey. I hope to keep in touch since our surgeries are so close together. Maybe we can be band buddies.

Congrats to you! What kinds of testing did you have to do? I barely have my 1st consultation with the surgeon next Wednesday and I'm just curious on what I can maybe expect.

Good luck!! I had mine yesterday! Tired, but the worst is the gas pains. And like you, I'm glad other people have done this too!
