Definitely call your doctor Monday. In the meantime, try some warm liquids like coffee or tea before you eat. It may help.

Yes, thats what they call "sliming". Definitely call your dr on Monday. It should be an occasional thing, not at every single meal. I call it a jellyfish swimming in the toilet (I know, tmi) Marci

So I was banded on March 26th and just returned to work this past Monday. Every morning I try to eat , take one bite, get a mild chest pain and I throw up a mucus like substance, no food. Then after I throw up I can eat. Well now it's happening every meal and its a lot of mucus. It's not forceful and it doesn't hurt to throw up at all. Is this what they mean by sliming? It's getting really annoying and my surgeon office isn't open until Monday. Any advice? Does this happen to other people?
