I have my first fill scheduled for April 19th. I know that after the fill, I will have to go back to liquids for a few days....but can I eat before my fill?

I found that if I eat right before a fill the dr is more hesitant to add as much fluid in the fill. If my stomach is fuller then the band seems tighter and he thinks I am closer to my green zone than I think I am (does that make sense?). So personally, my dr has never told me to eat or not eat before a fill but I think he will get a better, more accurate reading on where my band sits if I am hungrier.

I just had my first fill yesterday. My Dr. said nothing to eat or drink 4 hours prior.

I generally do not eat or drink before fills... at least 2 hours according to my doc.
