Weight gain

I had surgery on the 2nd of April I was just wanting to know if the scale says I gained 2.4 lbs is that normal

Yep, very normal! I was up almost 8lbs the day after my surgery. It took a week or so for it to go back down. Also remember not to get discouraged if you don't lose much in the first few weeks... the weightloss tends to be slow while your body heals :)

Yep, swelling does that to ya. You will see weight loss soon enough. Good Luck!

Try not to weigh yourself for a while except at your doctor visits it will make you crazy. Congrats on surgery.

Yes I also weighted myself two days after surgery and had gained 8 pounds. Was banded on march 21st and have lost 15 pounds since. So yes it is normal.
