Was anyone able to eat around 5-600 cals after surgery abt 3 weeks after? I hve no full in my band.. Just curious.

I average 400 to 500...I will be 6 weeks post op Monday...its hard to get those calories in...I have 3cc in my band

I averaged 500-600, then 600-700, then back to 500-600, now 600-700. All in 14 months. I was 500-600 when I was not eating breakfast as I was never hungry in the morning. My nut always says don't eat if you are not hungry.

Yeah you are OK. It just takes time for your body to heal. Congrats on your surgery!

If you go too low for too long, your body might go into starvation mode and hoard all of the calories you eat, which halts your weight loss! But not to worry, it will get going again once you have healed and get back to eating solid foods.
