10 days post op...

And really looking forward to adding cream soups starting tomorrow. I know which ones to avoid (I.e. broccoli etc because of the excess gas it produces), but what are some of your favorites? I bought a strainer to help catch any pieces that might be in soups like cream of mushroom etc. Is straining the best thing to do?

Sounds good to me. I love cream of chicken and cream of celery!

One of my favorites was cream of potato. I put in the blender before cooking. I enjoyed tomato also. Enjoy.

My doctor allowed us to have tomato soup pre-op, but not immediately post-op. They want us to avoid anything with a lot of acid. Which is too bad, because Campbells has a cream of tomato soup that is great! It's one of the only soups that doesn't gross me out.

I think Campbells has a healthy something cream soup. Cant remember the name but more healthy then regular ones.
