I am 5 days post op and still only able to get in about 16oz protein shake (4oz at a time through out the day) and then some popsicle, water and 1 jello. I get that full feeling so quick. Is this normal? A couple of drinks and I am full for an hour. If I try to take more in I get nauseous but I'm afraid of not getting enough protein in. Each day I have been able to take a little more in. Just don't want to make myself weak or sick from not getting enough in.
