Does your Surgeon...

  • Popular Post

...Call you?

Dr. Oliak has called me twice now.

Once 2 days B4 the surgery to see how I was doing and if I had any questions.

Today he called post-op to see how I was doing and if I had any questions.

Then He proceeds to tell me exactly what he did yesterday -- I was stunned.

I'm loving me some Dr. Oliak what a cool dude.

He sounds unique! I love my surgeon but he doesn't go to that length. Glad he is taking great care of you!

That's an awesome thing to have a surgeon with such great bedside manner. They are normal people too, which means that some just don't talk to others well. You got very lucky to have a surgeon with such an open personality!

Congrats and good luck on your journey!!

Yes, I was surprised. The thing that boggles my mind is since approval my Insurance company calls me weekly. Every Monday morning the same RN calls to see how im doing, do I have any issues, hows the recovery, gives suggestions for post op and is very encouraging to me. I look forward to her call shes super nice and friendly. WEIRD (United Healthcare)

When I called united healthcare to see if they covered the surgery and what the requirements were, they told me "your going to be hearing a lot from us" lol and I have!

I love my doctor's office as well! His entire team is incredible! They called me 2 or 3 days post-op to check on me, see how I was doing, and to reinforce the importance of drinking even if it was difficult. I also have been there every week to 2 weeks since then! Having a doctor and team who truly cares about your well-being makes this entire experience that much better and more enjoyable! I'm happy you found a great doctor as well!!

Good luck to you!
