I am 18 days post-op and have been feeling great up until about 4 or 5 days ago. I'm having new sharp, burning pain in my belly. It is not near any incisions. There is no heat or redness. The spot is just to the left of my navel. I'm having no problems eating, drinking etc. Has anyone had this experience? I'm wondering if this is related to my port. Can someone tell me where the port is located in relation to the port incision. BTW I'm calling the doc this morning.

My port is actually about an inch under the incision and just a smidge to the left. Sometimes my port will be a little achy and I'll check the incision but the incision doesn't hurt... The port is what is sore. But it goes away. I'm about 2 months post op.

my port is right under the incision on my right side I did get some left side pain and as soon as I had a BM it was gone. Take softeners is you aren't having BM anyway and let us know what the doctor says

My port is nowhere near . It is on the left side under my ribs.
