I have lost 79 pounds in a year.

I have lost 35lbs in 8 months... A little slower then most but I'm happy so far... Well worth it...

I have lost 40lbs and I am 10 week post op. it's been a good feeling and I'm excited bout the journey ahead. My goal is 100lb to be healthy and maybe eventually hit 150lbs loss to be skinny. I have never been skinny so I'm being realistic bout it. However the sky's the limit.

Today was my 6 month bandiversary, and i'm down about 50 lbs.

But just because us posters are losing weight doesn't mean it's a GIVEN that everyone with a lapband loses weight. In fact, im working my butt off counting calories/measuring food/ working out 5x a week.

That said, the lapband can be a useful tool when used correctly

Good luck in your decision

I've lost 187 pounds in 13 months.

:o Amazing!

I have lost 60lbs but its been a VERY slow process....but I still would like to lose another 20lbs! I would do it all over again but I wish I had done it in my early 30's instead of waiting so long!

Lost 24 lbs in 3 weeks

I've lost 50 lbs in 10 months, I love how I am starting to look and how I feel, but it's being such a slow process that I have to confess sometimes I feel very discouraged

I totally understand the discouraging feeling! Its so hard to keep chugging on when the weight loss is SO slowwww

Ugh I've been plateuing for a few weeks now and its miserable ugh

You're not alone there, I often feel discouraged esp when I hear stories of big losses... It's not easy at all or a miracle cure but its all about hanging in there and keep blodding alone... Def feeling a little lost lately but it will get better, I just know it... :)

The Dr says i'm doing fine, that 1-2 lbs is the ideal weight loss, but this is not what I expected

I have lost 70 in just 90 days. That being said, I work extremely hard counting calories And working out

I've lost 70lbs in 3 months. But I count calories an work out a lot!
