the thing is weight shouldn't matter to you're loved one if they adore you for who you are inside nothing else should matter at all weight can always change but people that are ugly on the inside Thats something that not even plastic surgery can change people that have called me names based apon my weight this is exactly what Ive said yeah my weight I can change but that inside of yours is unrepairable and rotten I dare to say fat because its a word that I no longer take as harsh because I Dont let that one word take control of me fat skinny or whatever Im happy for my self no one else lives my life but me I hope the world can change in that aspect either its in high school or a work environment pls respect all areas of human bein god bless

I had my band a year after my daughter was born and Thats was my concern too as well cause I was considering the sleeve at the time and my doctor said the band would be better considering my age and wanting more babies my obgyn too didn't want for me to have the band either suggested some medication with a healthy diet most doctors Dont want you to have the band Im not exactly sure why but Thats the second doctor telling me that my band doctor did say I wouldn't have any problems with my band but I have heard that once u unfill from Ur band completely that it isn't as tight as before not sure how true that is hope this helps god bless

hope this gives ppl incouragement Ive struggled and judged my self and wished for food and heard comments upon my band made mistakes got right back up but Ive never regreted my choice to have the band because Im happier healthy a much better person its all worth my feeling like gold like nothing can bring me down even if something would too Ima get right back up again its worth the fall cause that rise is much stronger good luck and best of wishes

don't worrie I too was scared but you're in control always remember some think Im never going to be able to drink this eat that but the thing is you can maybe not now but when you're able to control the amount of food you eat takes time in my experience I did have mistakes which is so normal and food does get stuck and when it does Ive learned room temp pineapple juice or before you eat drink something hot so you're throat is relaxed coffee is perfect opens up the air way you're doing great the band is a tool to help you're mind adjust to you're new life style Dont let the worries of food getting stuck or failing because you will get right back up and have the acomplishment knowing you never gave up you Cant change over night but slowly you're mind will change and you will never worrie again at the end you will overcome this its worth trying always because you trying will make a difference in the end hope this helps god bless

maybe try tramadol helps and its none addictive Im not sure if it comes in liquid I know all about back pain its a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone and hasn't been better since loosing 125 pounds as for pain I take 800 mgs motrin and have never had pain again by taking motrin even with my galbladder being taken out or a hernia repair long term use does cause liver damage but other wise talk with you're doctor or his nurse to be safe

thanks my bandster buddies I appreciative all of you're postive comments as for tips on loosing my weight I didn't rush it and I ate small even when my band didn't have much fill and no cokes for sure I made water and other healthy drinks my friend excerise is a key thing to do as well not like crazy just when ever you feel too eating at night no more mainly Ive have found none of these things will work unless Ur mind as well changes absolutely has to change re learning how to eat all over again from apple sause to eating at a resturant too fast food even I eat well but not as I used too after a while I asure you you're taste of food will go away you're desire to have food will go away you're will as a person that you are will be strong willed to acomplish a change that will affect you and you're family on a better life style hope this helps if any more questions feel free to ask best of luck and god bless

Omgosh Ive have lost125 pounds I was banded on march 30 2011 Im a very proud women I couldn't of made it with out my support from other band members that very much understand the new life style I have aquired my hubby who supported my weight loss and my struggle to reach my goals my parents who supported my choice on having the band my 2 year old who inspired me to change not only my weight but the way I eat so I can show her the healthy way to eat for people who are thinking or even already have the band there's always bad and good always !!!! but the band out weighs any bad for reason being the feeling of acomplishment and self worth for you're self loving the inside is so much better then loving the outside Im health and loving it !!! first off I thank god for being there every step of the way for everyone who is considering having the band and or already has it wish yall the best and god bless <3

Dont worrie heccat Im proud of every one doing well on the band Im 25 was banded march 30 2012 my total weight loss 125 pounds went from a size 22 to a 10-12 stopped getting fills my 8th appt but had to re adjust let a Lil out from time to time and I was still losing never gained this is all said with my journey being good and difficult and very different but the out come is well worth the travel it might of been bumpy road but my destination is very very much worth it not to mention the people around made a world of difference Ive learned not to let the negative affect me for one reason that my hubby said to me and ill never forget as he told me I was sitting on the edge of the bed with the light turned off as he turned on the light he saw I was crying and asked me whats wrong I had said how can u love me it wasn't because of the way I looked I asked because of the way my outside made my inside feel he told me Jennifer I love you because of everything you are and have grown to be the inside of you is worth everything in the world to me cause you are worth it !!! from then on no one else mattered ppl who said you can do it on you're own ppl who say why did you do that to you're self and to this day I tell them because my life matters and no one can say anything to life being more important BEST OF LUCK GOD BLESS !!!!

my advice fight I mean get you're claws out and start fighting first call you're insurance company and Dont I repeat talk to the agent talk only to manager get ext # as well because they will do anything not to pay my insurance said because I had no insurance since 2010 I asked Thats funny I have a 2 yr old and yall paid I wonder how that happened so no matter what stay strong and postive and Dont give up

hi my name is jenny im 25 and was banded march 30 2012 lost about 80 pounds im growing weak for the fact being im not able to eat my fav food and still have not grown used to eating healthy to my new life style and im about to be unfilled for sugery i have a bad c section that needs to be re corrected its taking me a while hiw to re learn to eat healthy hut i do have relasps that my nrain doesnt want to forget so any helpful hints or encouragements thanks
