Well guys .... Last day of pre-op diet is over. I'm off to bed so I can report to the hospital @ 6:45. I am nothing but nerves.... Hoping I can sleep. Any last minute tips ?

Follow your doctor's orders. Sip water until you feel like you can't drink anymore and then get another glass. Walk around as much as possible, but get plenty of rest too!

If you heating pad or "Magic Bag" for the microwave I found them very helpful after the surgery if you have the shoulder pain from the gas. That's the only pain i had after the surgery. It last for 3 days... heat and walking really helped.

Wt. Loss: 156 lbs

Surgery went well. Munching on ice chips and just got first dose of pain meds since I left recovery. Had a slight scare when I got up to go to bathroom & one of the incision started bleeding. But after applying bulk dressing and getting it under control I'm ok.
