If you are sick they might not want to do it. I would call them and ask.

Ya call them every doctor is different. However i was sick and the did mine i got done one monday. And they gave me an antibiotic before they did it.

They will probably cancel, sorry. Did you contact the office?

If you don't have a fever and were not exposed to anyone with the flu or strep they still may do the surgery. I have those symptoms regularly from allergies. Every doctor is different. Just be honest with them and let them know how you feel. It can be difficult enough emotionally having the surgery, you don't want to be physically sick on top of that! Let us know how everything goes! Good luck!
