Did anyone else have this?

Did anyone else feel super irritable and cranky during the pre-op diet?

Easier question is "Did anyone NOT get cranky"

  • HELL YES!!!! No more eating my favorite crap really pissed my body off! I think my body was rebelling, screaming DON'T DO THIS! And during that time I think my husband and kids would have agreed with

I was extremely grumpy but as the few pounds came off, the grumpiness seemed to just disappear (and the fact I got used to not having the food I was used to). Hang in there.

im pretty sure thats normal because your body kinda goes into shock i think because your not used to liquid diets. I was the same way and like daisychains said it will get better.

Thanks guys. I think my poor family has had enough of me. Lol.

HELL YES!!!! No more eating my favorite crap really pissed my body off! I think my body was rebelling, screaming DON'T DO THIS! And during that time I think my husband and kids would have agreed with my body. I was so cranky and irritable I think if my husband could have ran a chocolate I.V. In my arm he would have! It goes away once your body detoxes from crap! LOL...good luck and God Bless the people around you during this time! LOL

Uh yeah.. LOL Hunger is one of my mega B**** triggers. I am in the process of finding other ways to deal with the inner demon lol.

I'm on Day 3 of a 14-day pre-op. I was hell on wheels for the first two, and this morning I woke up feeling on top of the world. I hope it sticks. I have a friend coming to stay with me this weekend and I don't want him running for the hills. Good luck! We're all gonna make it!

Hah, my first time around I cried and had tantrums, screaming in my car alone going "IF I COULD DO THIS I WOULDN'T NEED THE BAND!" hahaha. and I only had to do 7 days.

I start my pre op diet in 10 days. It's hard not "getting the pizza in while I can" but I can't seem to help myself.

Ask my family!

Lol, I caved on day 6 and had a grilled cheese. I said it was because I had a GI bug!
