Met with surgeon today.

Hello everyone, today I had my orientation class and after, I met with the surgeon. I was told that in order to have surgery I needed to loose 10 percent of my body weight, but I was surprised when he told me only 12 lbs. I definitely don't weigh 120 lol. So hopefully my process wont take too long, I know how to loose, but I can't keep it off. How much weight have you had to loose pre-op?

I didn't have to lose a certain amount but I had to do the two week pre op liquids diet and I lost 22 lbs.

I to know how to loose it was keeping it off for me also...

When I was doing pre diet....

all I was told was I had to learn to eat healthy and

try to control portions...with that said she told me I would loose...

and there was no set abount...but I did loose 50 befor banding....

Good Luck...and I know this time you will keep it off !!

Do what you can before hand, it only makes the surgery easier and the journey shorter.
