BANDED YESTERDAY

Hi, all. I was banded yesterday and am doing great. The pain is tolerable. I am just dying to drink something and I have to have an X-ray (with contrast) done first. So, just wanted to let all of my other jan '13 bandsters know that it really isn't bad! Have a great day.

Hi, everyone! Thx for the warm welcomes. I am doing considerable better after an urgent "unfill" last night. I was overfilled. Much better now. To all of the other new bandsters, I look forward to sharing our journey.

I had a band revision (actually a new system put in) and a hernia repair on the 15th. Still having a lot of pain from the hernia and the removal of the old port. My last band was placed up too high so I did not have any significant weight loss over the past 2 years.

If you are wondering why it took 2 years to figure that out it is because 6 months after I was banded I had a full hysterectomy which we thought was causing issues, then about 8 months after that I had a thyriod ectomy which also created issues. Hopefully we are done removing body parts and can get onto the fat loss ;0)

Congratulations!! :)
