  2. Congratulations!!!!
  3. Yeah I haven't had any problems since I've eaten but when I was doing research I didn't see any cases where people were allowed to change to solids so quickly. I never even had a puréed stage. I think it's odd but my doctor seems to be pretty confident.
  4. I had my surgery on tuesday of last week (so 8 days ago). I went to my doctor today to make sure everything is healing well. He told me that I have healed so well that I can start eating any kind of food, exercise, and drink alcohol (as long as I mind my calories). He made an appointment for me to get my first fill in seven weeks. I ate about a 1/4 cup of rice and about an 1/8 cup of chicken for dinner with no problems. Although I feel totally fine, I still find it odd that I have permission to do everything 3-4 weeks earlier then is typically allowed. Did anyone else start eating solids one week after surgery?
  5. I was banded on the 15th as well! Hope everything is going good for you so far ! X
  6. I was banded the same day! Hope everything is going well for you so far!
  7. I am 19 years old and I had the Lap band surgery in north London 2 days ago on Tuesday night. Recovery has been going well so far although I am feeling quite swollen under my ribcage. I'm nervous about the next month with no solid food! I don't understand how I won't be hungry from only eating soup!
