  8. OMG are we the same person?? Lol. I was banded in 2010 again in 2013 and revised to bypass 7/31. I am having no issues either and am nervous. I have even eaten eggs already with no problems. I am hoping because I had sooooo many issues with the band reflux sticking always hungry could never eat without vomiting it up..... This just works better for me.
  9. The day of surgery (7/31) weighed 207.5. I came home the next day weighing 214. (That was a bummer). This morning I weighed 206.5.
  10. I am hoping it does not happen as often as it did with the band. It has only been 3 days but I definitely feel the difference. With the band everything got stuck and started backing up. I was always hungry because I could never really eat a proper meal without getting sick.
  11. Ok. Sounds like what I experienced with the band. Yes it sucks!
  12. I had two bands. The first caused a hernia and the port hurt a lot. I just had my second one removed and converted to a bypass. I had another hernia horrible GERD lots of port pain. My doc said he has beef removing a lot of bands for the same reason.
  13. I am confused. What is frothing/fomies? I know about dumping but not the other. I am a band to bypass revision so I am extremely familiar with things getting stuck and having esophagus pain for hours until you vomit. Is that what you are referring to?

  16. I had my surgery on July 30 and came home 7lbs heavier????
  17. Had my surgery yesturfay. Feeling pretty good. I am concerned about the amount of liquid I am able to get in
  18. I am having a band to bypass revision tomorrow. I chose bypass over sleeve because it is a non restrictive procedure and I had serious issues with reflux due to the band. Because of that my doc recommended bypass rather than the sleeve.
  19. Marika will do. My surgery is Thursday. I am getting nervous now.
  20. Are you packing for your surgery tomorrow?
  21. Started my pre-op diet today. My surgery is July 30 and I am a bit (well a lot) nervous. After 2 failed lap band attempts I am concerned about the scar tissue and whether or not the doc will be able to complete the revision to bypass. I am also questioning whether or not I am doing the right thing. I already failed twice, I just don't want to fail again.
  22. How much can I expect to loose during my 2 week pre-op diet? I start it Wednesday.
  23. @@Ligaleagle86 That's so awesome! I hope I have the same success as you.
  24. @@Ligaleagle86 how has your weight loss been? I have heard that most revision people loose weight slower than if they would have gone right into bypass. I only lost about 5 pounds a month with the band. I too had horrible reflux. The kind that would wake you up at night gagging. I HATE this band and cannot wait to remove it. At the same time I am scared that the bypass won't work either.
