Last night I started getting this unbelievable pain on my left side (not the shoulder pain), but a piercing pain on the side midway between my waste and chest. Anyone else experience this? I had my follow up with my dr yesterday and put aside my fears on all other pain as normal post op, but this happened hours after my appt. any help anyone could lend would be greatly appreciated!!

I would vote for a gas pain. I had these several times after my surgery. And 18 months later I still get them sometimes if I had eaten a little to much.

I'm told in time it could heal, but in some it is what it is.
