Hey What???

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there Congratulations on being banded! Two weeks out is when you really start feeling good again.

I'm 2mths out and living in "Bandster Hell" until I get enough fills for restriction.

I'm sure you're still a little swollen and doubt you have a huge appetite yet. Stick to your Drs plan you still have some healing to do.

Bee Healthy!

I forgot to answer your questions, to busy welcoming you.

I eat 1/2 to 1 cup of food 3 times a day. If I get real hungry between meals I have hot Chai tea or sf hot chocolate and that always keeps me going until next meal.

Good luck on you journey!

Many people feel restriction from the beginning. Often there is some fluid in the band after surgery, this varies by doctor. Sometimes just eh swelling and healing process made me feel full. I know several people who have lost 80+ pounds with the band with NO fills. Following the lap band eating rules and measuring and weighing your food is just as important. Don't count on the fills to make you thin. The band is a tool, you have to use it the right ways. It is a journey, not a destination!

Bee Well!
