Thank you...... I am really excited!!!! A little scared of the gas pains, but I am ready....

Hey! Banded this past Monday. First 2 days a complete blur. Never slept so much in my life! Its painful to move, but its important to reduce the risk of blood clots. I would suggest not even trying to sleep in bed, u will need a recliner or sitting on the couch... trust me! No pain from the gas for me, thank goodness. Yesterday and today best days of the week so far. Just keep in mind, its all going to be worth it... you can do this. ;)

CONGRATS!!!!! This is a wonderful way 2 start the new year...... I thank u for the info, please keep me post on ur journey...

It was the decision I ever made I was banded on sept.27 have lost 31 lbs..and feel great.. Good luck.

Good Luck! awesome decision! Was banded 10.22.12 have lost 37lbs. Week first wasn't as bad as I had prepared myself for. Everyone is different. 2nd day was the worse, i had a hard time with liquids, it went down fine, I was just sooo bloated that i would take a sip and i'd blow up and pains would start.. 3rd day was starting to ease a bit and the 4th day I was starting to feel a whole lot better :)

Gasx.. walk walk walk off that gas and rest up ;)
