Two years ago today I was banded..

I do not regret my decision for one single second to have my band nor that I went to MX to have it done. It changed my life..I am happier and healthier then I have ever been in my life, despite my erosion on November 28th 2005. For 18 months my band did its job..I am happy to report I have lost 106 lbs to date and NO weight gain in the last 5 months without my band. I went from a size 22 to a 10..I have learend to use my head and do this solo, it is not easy ..no lie there but I am determined. Congratulations on all your past and future success. I'm glad that people like you stick around here even after loosing your band. We need all the help we can get!

I can only imagine how proud you are of yourself. I am proud for you too. Congrats on the continued sucess even being bandless. A friend of mine who knows that I am banded asked me how long I am going to keep my band...I told him...dude, I married my band...I made a life long commitment. They will have to bury me with it.

Happy Bandiversary SISTER! Yup two years ago for me as well. I am still struggling and trying to maintain. I have gained some but all in all the band helped me make a life change.
