Absolutely! Sometimes if I eat to fast, I will get stuck and it's very painful. I had a couple days where I threw up most of the day; then on Thanksgiving it was as though I could eat anything and no problems at all. Every day is unchartered territory, and I have no idea how it's going to go. I'm trying to eat slowly and with small bites so that some continuity will come about.

Yes, even after 3 years, I stil have times that food just won't go down, and doesn't appeal to me. I am not sure what to tell you, exept, it is pretty normal and to wish you well. Karen

Oh yes... I am almost 2 years post op and some days I have trouble getting in all my food and other days I have no problems. One day I can eat chicken and the next day it wants to come back up. Same with several other things as well. My band is very finicky.

Thanks cause ille go a week and can eat no trouble then ille have a couple days can only get soft foods down and drinks I'm almost a year banded and was just tring to see if it happen to others thanks again

There are many factors that effect the band, stress, hydration, sinuses, tom just to name a few. The band is like a toddler you never know what each day will bring....

Take each day as a new journey and go with the flow (pun intended) it changes sometimes for everyone.

I have finally accepted that everyday is different as well as every meal. Just my life wwith my band
