A Week Out - Gaining?

Hey there! I was banded on Monday - lost almost 11 lbs on the liquid pre and post-op diet - I'm transitioning into heavier liquids, and I've gained a pound! Based on what I've been reading from other forum members, this is normal? I get that my body is healing, and probably in starvation mode and clinging on to every calorie for dear life...I think I just need some validation :) Has this happened to others?

This does happen to some people. Don't worry. Your body is fluctuating and healing. Your body will straighten out and the weight will come off.

Your swollen, bloated, healing its normal.

This is normal for most. Just keep to your surgeons post op eating plan and the weight loss will come
