Restriction

Just got banded yesterday. Feeling pretty good. Is there any restriction with the band after surgery, or with your first fill?

Some of the doctors fill at the time of surgery too so that helps I had 3cc put in my band at surgery

2 months, 2 fills, no restriction.........everyone is different.

Most all surgeons put some in your band to "prime" it. . . you should ask your surgeon; but for me it has taken several fills and 6 months to get near the green zone. ~ good luck ~

When I first had surgery I felt some restriction then after a few days nothing. I am on my 3rd fill after my September surgery but I am feeling like I am getting to that green zone.

What restrictions are you guys discussing I am a bit confused and what's a green zone?

"Restriction" usually refers to feeling satisfied on 3 oz solid protein and some veggies/fruit and being able to go 4-5 hrs before feeling hungry.
