my first fill is scheduled for 11/29

Most of us don't feel any/much restriction until after a few fills. Sorry to say as I know we are eager to get there. I have had 3 fills and am only now feeling it. Good luck.

I have no fills and am 3 weeks post op. I may still be swollen/sore but I definately can't eat as much. I max out at a cup of food. Soup, chili, mashed potatoes, yogurt. If I try to eat more I feel uncomfortably full and have back pain that feels like that bad post op gas pain.

Hi gIRLS! banded 10-17-12. no restriction either, and hungry. holding steady at -20 #.. No more . no less. FINALLY getting my 1st post op visit tomorrow ( 1st one cancelled, due to Hurricane sandy) . Im eager to get this show on the road. I went to the park yesterday with my 2 girls ( 5 & 19 mo) and did some lifting of my youngest, which i dont think i shouldve. felt stingy feeling above port incision, i hope i didnt flip anything or tear something up. any advice?? Also,, have to make sure i drink more h20! ,,Im not drinking enough,.. maybe that has something to do with no loss.. :) Pls keep in touch here.

That feeling you have of no restriction, but having to follow the eating guidelines and still starving - - that's what we call Bandster Hell. It's a time to put mind over matter, focus on your goals, and stick to the rules. It's not easy, by no means. Typically, it takes a few fills to feel good restriction. I've had four, and think I'm in my Green Zone now, so when I have 1 measured cup of food, I'm full for 4-6 hours.

I had my 6th fill last week but I felt virtually no restriction until my 5th fill now this last fill I am finding out what a can't eat i get stuck all the time!

Bandster hell, huh????? NOT LIKING THAT IDEA

  • 2 weeks later...

Im 41/2 weeks out and I guess I have some restriction (I dont like that word at all) or still swollen. I can only eat about 1/2 to 1 cup depending on what Im eating and not hungry for 3-4 hours Ok i do have head hunger and if i end up snacking I cant eat my meals so I am trying not snack. So Im going to wait as long as I can for a fill.
