10 cc with 5.6 cc fill.. dont really feel any different. 1st fill today.

got my 1st fill today 5.6 cc in 10 cc band. feel slight restriction, but nothing like im expecting. Pple are saying it may take a week or 2. why is this? how does everyone else feel about this????????

Hi gIRLS! banded 10-17-12. no restriction either, and hungry. holding steady at -20 #.. No more . no less. FINALLY getting my 1st post op visit tomorrow ( 1st one cancelled, due to Hurricane sandy) . Im eager to get this show on the road. I went to the park yesterday with my 2 girls ( 5 & 19 mo) and did some lifting of my youngest, which i dont think i shouldve. felt stingy feeling above port incision, i hope i didnt flip anything or tear something up. any advice?? Also,, have to make sure i drink more h20! ,,Im not drinking enough,.. maybe that has something to do with no loss.. Pls keep in touch here.

Slept sitting up on couch for 2 pm's, also. Still cant get completely up from lying position without help.. But i bet in the next 2 days i can. Thank you for all your inspirations here. Seeme---- Hang in there, be patient, you'll be "beaming" within No time!

Yes, I had the compression wraps, 1 shot in the belly. Outpatient. But my canadian friend. shots at home. with no pre existing. So-- I was also waiting for the "What in the world did i do to myself?" syndrome, but it never came,,, Thank Goodness. Now that im healing, i shouldve done this sooner, like the other 50000 ppl have sayd on the site already. haha.. But i feel FREE.. Free of insecurities in my future. Free of getting slight stares of, "Boy! she's a big girl" Free to fit in a roller coaster seat without having to be told,"sorry" you dont fit, and we cant squeeze you in" Free to soon shop in whichever MALL store i can ( afford) within boundaries, of course. Free to be seen as ME.

Well!!!!!!! Im Banded! 5 days out.. Feelin Great, now that the gas in my left shoulder is pretty much gone. I can get up and down by myself, but need help getting up from lying position on the couch. Bummer, but funny. I go back to work tomorrow,, I think things will be pretty smooth. I heard of someone having to take shots of heparin in the belly after surgery,., i thought this was a little abnormal.. Any input would be great. Im now eating oatmeal, and applesauce aling with shakes. I try to drink drink drink. Im not very hungry, which is a true miracle in itself... Things are good.. Thank you for all of your support within the lapband talk site... wonderful.. How is everyone else feeling. Any questions??

a pillow for the ride home, to hold your guts in.. lol for sure. chapstick. gas X,,, and alot of walking around if you can take it.. my nurse sayd,, if youre watching tv,,, get up at every commercial;

im 4 days out.. i can have tomato soup?????

Im curious to know the same thing.. Im 297, my surgery date is 10/17. I have 2 small children also,, 5 and 18 months,,, hope fully this will go smooth.. I DO believe this has been the best decision i have made for myself,, since usually im last on the totem pole.. Good luck to you...... DO IT!

Yes! my time is flying! Thanks everyone for the info ! i will be sure to heed all. DeeVee and April-- as soon as I figure out how to write you personally,, i will. LOL I find alot of inspiration here. Pre-op diet going much better than expected.. Im really NOT hungry ( well, maybe at work from 230 ish-330) but its workin. trying to stick with the h20 intake, but its very hard , I'm not a big drinker, bt i guess that comes with time,, I have my last weigh- in on Tuesday, I sure hope they dont want 50 bucks (copay) just to throw me up on the scale, im no seeing the Doc.. Getting slightly expensive, ya know?????

15 days to go! 10-17-2012 Boy, this is coming quick. I'm soo ready. I'm ready for a new life. Im ready to shop in the mall. Im ready to fit on a rollercoaster again. Im ready to change my family's eating habits ( Hope that goes smoothly) I hope I dont get that, " What the hell did I do to myself syndrome" Same day surgery. If anyone has any good suggestions for pre/post liquid & do's and don'ts , come hither.. I'm also looking for a buddy. This site has really helped me along the way. i'M GETTING ON THE BUS! WHEEEEEE!

i also cant wait to shop in the non plus size store... my date is 10/17/12. i forsee myself having a shopping habit also,, i know now all the skinny clothes are cheaper! lol..less material!
