It depends on the soup. Typically soups are sliders because they're liquids. Are you eating one with a lot of "stuff" in it? If there's a lot of chunks, perhaps you're just not chewing enough.

I eat soup alot. I just make sure to eat an amount appropriate to the calories I have slated for that meal. I find if I eat it too fast... its just like drinking too fast... it may come up. You should take 20 minutes to eat. And this includes soup.

I make my own soup so it is mostly stuff I make sure there is chicken or beans in it so I get the protein. maybe today just isn't a soup kind of day.................linedancer

I have many foods that are that way! Today I may eat 3 oz of chicken no problems.. tommorrow I may take one bite of chicken and get stuck.. band likes to keep me guessin!!

Does anyone have hiccups everytime they eat something?
