Ouch My Tongue

My tongue is dry and irritated. I am not dehydrated. It started after I tried a New whey Protein shot, but I havent had any in about a week. I am wondering if it is that I am drinking too much Crystal Light. I dont know and the nutrionist didn't know. Please if you have any ideas or solutions please share. I really appreciate it! I also put a humidifier in my bedroom because I had been waking up several times a night and I think that has helped some but not enough.

Thank you :)

  • Sounds like a visit to a dr would be in order to check for a yeast infection or similar.

Your tongue maybe irritated from the citric acid in the crystal light . Ive heard of several lap band people developing sensativity to it because they were drinking so much.

Yeah that is what the nutrionist said. Doesnt look like a yeast infection but maybe.

I had thrush (yeast infection on tongue) after powerful antibiotics when I had my gallbladder removed. It began as a raw feeling and then white patches. So inspect your tongue and if you see white patches that you can't brush away with tooth brush, call your primary Dr. Because it may be thrush.

It is very easy to get dehydrated. Sip, sip, sip!
