Surgery Tomorrow!!

I'm getting banded tomorrow and I wanted to know if anyone can share anything that will help for the recovery stage? I'm hoping for a speedy and minimal pain recovery :)

Thanks...just one question. What will I need the heating pads for?

I just used the heating pad to help with my back aches and shoulder aches. After surgery I had to sleep in recliner so my back would hurt. I also got cold at night so it warmed me up and just felt good!

I was banded last Tuesday, and had really not much discomfort.

For pain i didn't want Oxycodine, i took some liquid Tyonal,it worked out just fine.

Went to Dr today lost 5lbs since surgery.

Good luck!! it's the beginning to your new life!! you will do great!! Gasx also.. because most get gas pains and it helps.. heating pads.. can put anywhere it hurts.. EXCEPT your tummy.. don't put it around your incisions. Walk walk walk around your house or what you can do.. don't overexert yourself .. rest .. :) Keep us posted!
