Protein Shakes

Do you have to use a certain protein shake or does your doctor pick that for you? I have a meeting with my surgeion on 11/19/2012 but trying to go ahead and change my diet to make this process a little easier. What are some good liquids that everyone really likes?

I like the Extreme Smoothie canned protein shakes and the Matrix powder to mix as I need.

I use Designer whey mixed with Skim milk plus. I get it at Vitamin Shoppe

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm ordering a few of both to try. I'm excited! I'm going to try to make some changes now.

So I called my insurance today and they don't cover the lap band. I'm a little upset over this. I just don't have the money right now to pay for this. I'm hoping that something can be done b/c i have two specialist suggest the lap band.
