You are not suppose to be losing, you are suppose to be healing. Your band is most likely empty and not working for you right now. And with the minimal calories you have been eating for the last month your body is just grabbing onto them and holding them as it is not sure when it will be nurished again properly. Don't worry, you will be fine, take care of yourself.

Hi Nikki, this is not the time to worry about losing weight. Your main priority right now is to focus on getting your Proteins, drinks, fluids so you don't dehydrate. Fluids will heal your body much faster. Water, gatorade is great. Make sure you are drinking/sipping all day long. Your body will take about 4-6 weeks to heal. There is plenty of time to lose weight, now is not the time to focus on that!

Now, go rest up and take care of your new stomache :)

Best of luck,

Everyone is right, you won't really start noticing any loss until after your 1st fill. You have to heal and get used to your new way of life. Plus, you could be losing inches without seeing pounds lost. Hang in there...it's too early.

It's healing time which is frustrating,.... Try calorie counting to make sure you don't over eat during this time. I used 1000 calories as my target. ask you dr or pick a number you are comfortable with. A few more weeks you should see a nice loss
