Help Me! Nauseous!!

Banded 8/31. So nauseous. Have phenergan, but not throwing up so don't want to take that. What other things have you taken for nausea that are acceptable? Just thinking of protein shakes makes me gag.

  • Thanks, Carolinagirl. I'm doing better with the liquids, but not yet up to recommended amounts. Your reply is very sweet. I appreciate it. Thank you.

well, sojourner spoke of this before, are you drinking enough? if not , it could be that making you feel that way. (also quite possible from the surgery most likely) but if in doubt, DEF call the surgeon and let them know. everyone is different. i had the anti nausea meds also (and with me in my purse) and a patch behind my ear.

keep siping and siping and then sip some more and then do it again. you must drink (and esp get your Protein in to help feed your body).

I was the same way when I had mine done. I just drank alot of water, even when I did not feel like drinking anything.

I could not do the protein shakes either...still cant, but you have to make sure you keep yourself hydrated. WATER,. WATER, WATER.

Hang in there, it gets better.
