Snacks On Pre-Op Diet?

So I started my pre-op diet today and I can have a shake for Breakfast, a shake for lunch, and then lean Protein and veggies for dinner. My paperwork doesn't say anything about Snacks. I am not talking about chips and dip but maybe at least some fruit or cucumbers? My pre-op appointment isn't until Monday.

Has anyone else been on this type of diet?

Thanks!

I am allowed to just have sugar free jello and Popsicles and crystal light in between protein shakes and carnatiin instant breakfast.

I wish I cldve had meat! I do know that we could have raw veggies...I even used a lil dressing!

Good luck!

All docs/nutritionist are different.

Sorry you have to wait 3 days in to your pre op diet to have your pre op appointment. :( I also was allowed to have SF Jello, SF popsicles and Crystal Light.

My pro op was a 2 week liquid diet so snacking was not exactly very exciting,.... But I had sugar free Popsicles which saved me from going out of my mind. I think it was the hardest thing I ever had done..... But it prepared me for the three week post op liquid so it was pretty manageable

Good luck!
