Hi there. Well, I'm on day 8 now of my two week pre-op diet. Two or three days ago, I suddenly couldn't finish my Protein shake. I had been liking them just fine up to that point, but suddenly they're making me sick. I switched to a different brand and I'm doing okay so far with those. But my real problem now is at dinner when I'm allowed to have a small meal consisting of 4 oz of protein and a cup of fruits and veggies. The protein is making me so sick I can barely finish it. Last night I had baked skinless chicken and tonight I had my favorite ever, tofu. (I'm weird I know) The food tastes fine, but it still makes me feel sick.
Did anyone else go through this? Any suggestions on how I could change my diet maybe to make it better? I'm getting about 500 calories a day, it dropped down to nearly 400 the past couple of days because of this issue. I know that's probably too low but I haven't been too hungry and I'm feeling okay for the most part. I'm still taking my 30-60 minute daily walks too. I'm definitely not pregnant, the doctor tested me for that last week when I went in for something else. So I'm really clueless here. Any help would be SO appreciated!
