Scared

Hi, my name is Vicki and my sx is scheduled for 7/10. It's thw waiting and pre-op diet that is scaring me. I'm having a hard time with the liquid diet due to low blood sugars. I'm getting shakey between protein shakes. Im following the plan, but seem to need more. I've only been on liquids since Friday and have lost 10 lbs. Is this good?

the first few days i was also shakey. it does get better. any weight loss is fantatsic but focus on getting your body ready for surgery rather than a number of weight you lost. you are doing great. keep it up. just alittle while to go :)

Hi Vicki!

I am the same day as you! I would ask your doctor if there is anything you can add to your diet to help you with the LBS. You don't want to be making yourself sick!

I have been on the diet since Thursday and have already lost like 15 lbs. I'm struggling a lot with not eating. It feels like my body just needs something in it...something solid. Is losing that much so soon normal? I know some might be water weight, but I already take a pill for that.
