I have not yet been banded but am in the pre op process. I am all for the support as it is definately needed with such a great life decision.

great. when is your surgery? how are you feeling these days?

They have not giben me a surgery date. I meet with the nutritionist team on wednesday. With my insurance, I have to do a 3 month multi program before approved. These days I swear im getting more and more addicted to the site with the wealth of information it has. I have honestly been struggling to get into the gym and also making sure the band is the step I want to take. I have never had any type of surgery done so its nerve wrecking to me! How have you been? Do you have a surgery date yet or have ypu been banded?

I was banded June 11. I asked my surgeon to send me home same day. I came through everything good. Not ever surgeon does the surgery the same way. My surgeon took part of my stomach below my band and sewed it above my band to keep it from slipping. Another folds the bottom of the stomach in sews it together plus sew part of the bottom above the band. Check with the surgeon you choose.

Hi guys..i am looking for a new dr to do my fills in Richmond..my surgeon is no longer in practice at henrico drs .i was banded march this year..please provide your referrals..i need someone not too conservative with fills....who listens and is top notch.
