  1. Hard chioce. The LB does have a greater risk of side effects, slippage, erosion, rejection. It's bound to have problems again, even if its 10 years from now. Sleeve is a good alternative to the GBP, lower risks as well. But you will have to weigh the pros and cons and decide from there. Hard chioce! Great job on lost thus far!
  2. lol. too funny! I think the BK commercial with thier new summer burgers are now in my brain!

  9. My dr did my first fill 4 weeks post op. Some do 6 weeks. I know that some folks say it takes a while to determine your green zone...I guess 4-5 months out, I am still not in the zone...will be having a real conversation with my Dr next week to fill her up!
  10. I am glad i found this topic..my dr is conservative as well..it can be frustrating because surgery is risky and costly not to see the results expected..i feel like my struggle is near where it was before surgery. And maybe i should have gotten the sleeve. But then i people with other surgeries that have regained weight and are opting for the band as well...i do agree that having a serious talk with our dr is due..or find one that will fill us more..
  11. 50 co pay, insurance pays i think 200, so 250 total
  12. oK, so I am 4 months post op, down 40 pounds. Been stuck recently..never really feel satified...never had more than 5cc in my 10 cc band. I would love to test drive 6-7 or more cc..but pratice looks at how slow the the liquids move through my xray as a determination. Thoughts out there? I really want to fill her up.
