The next day. I also had a hital hernia repair.

Hi there...

I had my surgery on April 16th and it happened to fall on my spring break. I went back to work the following Monday. I had some difficulty because I am a teacher and had a hard time so I took three days off that week. I also had some problems with acid and a low grade fever so that prevented me from feeling 100%. Good luck... remember you are having surgery so you need to give your body time to heal....

same as ktsped i was on break for a week. I went back and was find but had to remember not to carry

I had my surgery with hiatal hernia repair on Wednesday and went back to work on Monday with no problems.

I had the lap band surgery with a hiatal hernia repair on Tuesday May 22, 2012 and I am going back to work tomorrow, May 29, 2012.

I had the hietal hernia repair as well as lapband. I thought I would e back to work on Monday when my surgery was on the Tuesday of the prior week. I tried to go back to work but instead ended up staying at home another week. The extra week of rest was needed.... Remember it is still a major surgery so be kind to your body and the healing process.

I was banded on the 22nd and not due to return to work until next Monday. I still have a significant amount if pain on my left side . I am hoping this is gone by then.
