Liquid Diet Help?

Am on my liquid diet now and I desparetly want salt. I was wondering if there was any salty liquid that is allowed outside of the soup I can have?

  • I discovered Herb Ox bouillon this afternoon. It is really good and it doesn't have the nasty taste of a container or a can. I highly recommend it!

You could strain a chicken noodle soup and just drink the broth.

I think regular broth is too salty. Also gatorade - that's the key ingredients in it, salt.

Good luck!

I have been doing bullion cubes in water. The receptionist at my surgeons office said it is ok but I am gonna double check. Two days in and I am overloaded with artificial sweeteners and I just want salt.

My go to then (and still) is broth. I got every flavor & found ones I like. I usually cut them with water. Also, you could try adding spices or herbs -- not too spicy. Good luck!
