Hungry!!!!

The thing is that I was banded on may 7th so I've been on liquids for two weeks now, but I feel more hungry after being banded. I don't eat really because the smell of broth or sf Jello and Popsicles make me sick. I know I know this is why I'm hungry but when I do eat these things I'm still hungry. Maybe not enough Protein? Help! I can't wait until mushy food stage.

I think you are right on with needing more protein. I know it's tough before you can eat - but I put protein powder in pudding and yogurt etc. Which I thinned with milk. Anyway you can get it'!

Can you add milk, yogurt, and cottage cheese? These are proteins and will help fill you.

I think that after the initial gas is gone, (most) everyone feels hungry. As you transition back to real foods, you will feel more satisfied. I would recommend more protein until then so you aren't tempted to make bad food choices.
