Hair Loss?

Never been on this site before but it seems like a great place to ask this question. I have been banded for 4 months (12/20) like many others

My weight loss has been rapid (65 lbs lost so far) I noticed I was losing more hair then normal almost 3 months ago. I am getting over the grams of needed protein daily, I take all vitamins daily plus biotin and zinc that my doctor told me to take. The lose hasn't slowed down much and my hair is def thinner I have even resorted to buying a special expensive hair shampoo for thinning hair. Is this happening with anyone else and will it stop soon???

It helps stimulate circulation which in turn keeps your hair from breaking and thinning out.

Well, for one, anesthesia will indeed have an after effect of hair loss. So if you are getting in all your protein and taking vitamins try switching shampoos. Nioxin is great. They make 3 specific formulas. Normal, chemically treated and forgot the other sorry. Professional salon brand so a bit more $$ but come on its your hair. Also if your hormones are out of whack that will do it too. If you have too much testosterone going on that will thin your head hair out but you'll notice some facial hair happening. Anesthesia can mess hormones up too. Hope that helps.
