Never been on this site before but it seems like a great place to ask this question. I have been banded for 4 months (12/20) like many others My weight loss has been rapid (65 lbs lost so far) I noticed I was losing more hair then normal almost 3 months ago. I am getting over the grams of needed protein daily, I take all vitamins daily plus biotin and zinc that my doctor told me to take. The lose hasn't slowed down much and my hair is def thinner I have even resorted to buying a special expensive hair shampoo for thinning hair. Is this happening with anyone else and will it stop soon???

I'll try that too lol I'm taking everything else to help why not one more thing lol! I hope the shampoo helps too

Yes my hair is thin too and I hve been very nervous too my doc said take biotin and zinc which I have been doing for about a month now but it's still Falling out like crazy. Someone told me to get bosley hair shampoo for thinning hair and swears by it so I did that also

I started losing mine 3 months ago. It's started 2 months after surgery. I drink body fortress I dunno If it's any good but I also have never heard someone say that the quality of protein depends on what your body will absorb. I have a doc appoint tomorrow and will ask that question. I have lost a lot of hair and M very nervous also because it's been 3 months and hasnt slowed down any. Hope it gets better soon

It may not delay the weight loss but it can be a huge reason for hair loss. The shakes are not my favorite I drink body fortress chocolate 52g of protein in 2 scoops so I pretty much get what I need daily for breakfast then all the rest throughout the day is bonus lol. It is very important to get the protein in. I have to block my nose take a sip of shake then a sip of water but I force it down =)

It doesn't hurt but sometimes there is an uncomfortable feeling of them trying to find the port. It doesn't hurt it's just odd. I would not look at the needle it can be intimidating. My doctor wouldn't let me see if for my first 2 fills. You will feel a quick prick them you won't feel anything. The worst part for me we when she was pushing around on my port trying to find it. Hope it goes well =)

Thanks guys mines been falling out for 3 months I want it to stop soon!! I'm taking 5000 milligrams of biotin twice a day lol still no help yet!! Everyone says I won't be bald but how can I not if this much is coming out! I heard that once it starts to come back sometimes there is a curl and it's thick and beautiful so that is what I am waiting for!!!

How long did it take yours to stop? I'm trying not to panic but it's hard!!

I had a hard time noticing my loss until I did a side by side photo. I was banded on 12/20 other people started noticing in February but like I said myself it took a side by side picture to really make me see a difference. =)
